Sgoil an Iochdair agus a’Choimhearsnachd (Eochar School and Community) are a small local charity who support recreation and sport in the catchment area of the school, from Peninerine in South Uist to Island Flodda, Benbecula. Their current big project is to improve the school playing fields, opening them out to wider community use.
The group’s new website brings together details of past projects and future plans, as well as news about current initiatives. Meeting minutes, policies and reports are also available.
